Peregrine
Case overview
Our task was to implement the Sourcing feature as part of MVP2, extending the platform with inventory automation capabilities. This initiative focused on seamlessly integrating sourcing into the existing ecosystem to support end-to-end inventory and order workflows. The feature was designed to become a natural extension of the platform, enabling warehouse teams and sourcing managers to operate within a unified system instead of relying on fragmented manual tools and processes. By embedding sourcing directly into the platform, we aimed to improve operational clarity, reduce friction, and create a more connected workflow between inventory management and order fulfillment.
Goal: Our goal was to automate sourcing workflows and reduce time-consuming manual work for warehouse staff, improving operational efficiency across fulfillment processes.

The challenges
The process
The project was managed using the Agile methodology, allowing the team to stay flexible, iterate quickly, and continuously align with the client’s evolving vision and business goals. Over the course of a 22-week timeline, we worked in structured phases focused on research, design, development, integration, and testing to ensure a smooth and efficient product delivery.
Discovery & Strategy
Instead of just reading documents, we embedded ourselves with the experts. Our deep-dive sessions with e-commerce merchants and logistics veterans were crucial for mapping every click, every frustration, and every opportunity for automation.
UI/UX Design
We designed the platform with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and ease of use. From building a comprehensive design system to creating detailed user flows and prototypes, every interface decision was aimed at improving efficiency and reducing friction in daily operations.
Development
Working in structured two-week sprints, the development team built the core functionality of the platform step by step. This included Shopify API integration, order management tools, logistics workflows, and a centralized dashboard designed to streamline operations and improve scalability.
Integration & Testing
The final stage focused on integration and quality assurance. Through rigorous testing with beta users, we verified that all workflows, automations, and data flows operated seamlessly, ensuring a stable and reliable product experience before release.
Solutions
We developed a full-scale e-commerce logistics and sourcing platform that consolidates fragmented operational processes into one unified system. It acts as a single source of truth across the entire merchant workflow, enabling clear visibility, better control, and improved coordination of all business operations.
The key features of solution
A Centralized Dashboard: No more switching between ten tabs. We gave users a single command center with an at-a-glance view of what matters most: low stock alerts, pending orders, and incoming products.
Advanced Order Management : A detailed and filterable list of all orders, showing store, product details, costs, shipping status, and tracking information
Integrated Inventory Control: Real-time tracking of product stock levels to prevent overselling and automate reordering.
Streamlined Fulfillment: We turned hours of work into a few clicks. “Bulk Fulfillment” processes hundreds of orders at once, eliminating manual entry.
Direct Sourcing: A unified system that allows brands to manage direct factory sourcing and fulfillment within the same platform.
Results in numbers
30%
Around 30% of the manual order processing workflow has been replaced with automated system actions, significantly reducing operational workload after factory connections are configured.
95%
Financial charges are now applied at precise stages of the order lifecycle using real product and shipping values, reducing losses, preventing unpaid balances, and improving overall financial accuracy.
100%
Admins can independently manage sourcing-related parameters such as taxes, fees, and exchange rates without developer involvement, reducing operational dependency on engineering teams.
100%
Products are sourced on demand per order, eliminating redundant inventory, improving stock accuracy, and reducing warehouse manual operations.
